Matthew is a highly experienced Project Manager with a substantive background in the civil and mining sectors through his work in North West Queensland. Following the completion of his Diesel Fitter apprenticeship, Matthew has worked in various organisations, most recently as a Workshop Manager for a diesel mechanic business. During this time, Matthew has trained and supported numerous Aboriginal trainees and apprentices.

In 2015, Matthew commenced delivery project management services to Providers delivering the Community Development Program. Matthew brings a pragmatic approach to designing, developing and implementing Work for the Dole projects and is very adept at engaging Aboriginal participants.

Matthew is skilled in developing and maintaining community and stakeholder relationships and providing practical leadership and hands on experience to operational staff.

He has developed various tools and procedures to guide CDP Providers in the successful delivery of activities, inclusive of workshop maintenance schedules, detailed risk assessments and OHS systems, asset management systems, and procurement of machinery and equipment.
